Josh Kelley says nothing beats an evening cuddled on the couch watching TV with his beautiful bride, “Grey’s Anatomy” hottie Katherine Heigl – even his rock-star lifestyle!

“We don’t like to go out much,” shrugged Kelley, 28, before performing last night for an intimate crowd at BOKX 109 in Newton’s new uberchic Hotel Indigo. “We love to do a lot of staying in and watching TV. We love ‘Dexter’ and ‘Weeds.’ ”

The couple, who wed last December in Utah, also enjoy collaborating on their culinary skills – though the “Only You” singer admitted his job is picking up the produce.“I spend a lot of time in Whole Foods,” he laughed.

But in between forays for organic veggies, Kelley has found time to work on his career, recording a hit single “To Remember” – the official song of the 2008 Beijing Olympics – and hooking up with the mod Hotel Indigo chain.

And that affiliation comes in handy during these grueling weeks living out of a tour bus with Rod Stewart, Kelley confessed. Izzy Stevens’ honey is touring with the pop icon as his opening act, performing tonight at the Comcast Center.

“It’s nice because we live in a tour bus basically, which is a fun way to live. . . . but sometimes you just want a bed,” Josh laughed. “Now we’ve got a place to stay!”
